From Idea to Finish

A singer-songwriter has written lyrics and a melody but needs help arranging the chords for your song. Instrumentalist needs help adding multiple tracks, finishing their project professionally. A band needs professional guidance.
I provide the chord progression that fits the style and mood, along with support, communication and arrangement, to bring your vision to life.
Example: A Tamil singer songwriter who wrote lyrics and music, needed modern arranging and recording
  • Needed corrections to the melody, line adjustments
  • Needed chords. We started by collecting sample moods for each of the songs. 
  • Collecting the elements – Pads, bass, percussions – and bringing them together. 
Playing to the beat, correcting timing problems, arranging according to scale and pitch, are musical-technical skills necessary for a listenable final recording. Without specfic experience, even professionals get it wrong. 
With my amphibious experience in both the tech and music field over the decades, I am uniquely eligible to help with the whole creation process.

Band – bringing it together

You already have musicians playing with you, maybe a band, have written songs but needs help with taking it to the next level, completing and getting results. I help arrange the work, remove the unwanted, make solid the important, coordinate the recording sessions, handle the technical details, and ensure a smooth production.

Demo to full production

A musician has recorded a basic demo but needs full production, including arranging additional instruments, recording, and mixing. You can handle all aspects of the production, collaborating with other musicians as needed.
Professional recording, mixing, mastering are done by professionals in their own studios. Not by you and me. We can calculate the budget before starting the work with other musicians and technicians.
The work can be done by different professionals from different parts of the world, who send in their work, which is sorted and finalized by us. We will be coordinating the work. You will benefit from my Musician and technician contacts, along with the required managing. 
What should the bass player do? Do we need to adjust your idea for the genre and for practicality? Did the player play some notes that need change? I usually edit them again for note correction, timing after I get the files, to merge them all in place. This also saves time by not paying a studio for the editing part. 
The finalized set of files are sent in the correct format for final mixing and mastering. The technician is chosen based on their previous work and specific genre. At this stage, we communicate our mixing needs, verify the results, redo as needed.
