You record yourself playing – a song, exercise, or improvisation – and send it to me. I’ll listen and respond with a detailed video critique, including:

Points to note:
Position your phone so that the video will clearly show both your playing hands. Face and other background is irrelevant. It is better to keep the phone steady somewhere instead of handheld.
Send your mistakes and problems. We are not looking for a performance video or an audition tape. This is your opportunity to show your problems mistakes and get Corrections to the underlying techniques, subskills and competencies.
Due to certain rules, please DO NOT SEND your original compositions or improvisations. Only existing published songs – film songs, raga songs etc are alright.
💡 Why are corrections important?
Many learners practice for months but aren’t sure what they’re doing wrong – or what they could be doing better. A short, precise correction at the right moment can save weeks (or years) of guessing.
- A lot of focus is given on the notes while the real music is in between the notes the way the notes are connected with sustain.
- Without knowing you may be introducing delays into your playing with ineffective playing methods like looking at the picking hand or a wrong wrist angle

- You may be a good rhythm player but have you connected the downstrokes with the lyrics of the song if you’re planning to play them together
