Carnatic Guitar Core Guidance (1 Month)

From scales to ragas, notes to swaras, learn to play Carnatic Geethams & Krithis. While learning the underlying theory and the Guitar – Carnatic connection. Depending on the duration of our learning together, we go through multiple ragas, clear phrasing, technique – phrasing & finger. 

This path can be continued as long as you want – going through all the different compositions and ragas that you wish to play.

What usually happens

Many players:

• don’t know how to connect different ragas to the guitar
• don’t have enough discipline to perfect their playing
• get confused by different online resources
• try playing bits and pieces without fluency

The result: you are unsure of your playing, can’t play or perform for yourself or others.

• You have step by step instruction, starting from simple notes, progressing slowly to more complex moves
• You can read and connect swara sheets to the fretboard
• Think and play in swaras, not just fret numbers and Tabs
• Use gamakas, jhantas and connecting slides intentionally, from reading swaras
